What is summer research?
Our Summer Research Programme is an exciting opportunity to gain experience working with sector-leading academics on real research projects.
What can I study?
You’ll spend 150 hours assisting one of our experienced researchers with their ground-breaking work. Our projects can be taken over 4 or 8 weeks, but will always total 150 hours. Please note that some projects have specific start dates and can are only available to be taken over a specific number of weeks . Take a look at the projects included in our Summer Research Programme in 2025.
Who can join the Summer Research Programme?
The programme is open to international students who meet our study abroad entry requirements. We cannot accept students who are currently studying in the UK.
How will I be assessed?
Each student is requested to submit a reflective essay and take part in a poster presentation. Each element is worth 50% of a final grade.
