Information on Summer Research Programme accommodation and our Culture Calendar
Summer Research Programme Accommodation
Summer Research Programme (SRP) students are guaranteed a place in our city centre campus accommodation. Residences are situated within walking distance of our campus and are the perfect base for studying and enjoying everything the University and city have to offer.
For summer 2025, SRP students will be able to book a room in Melville Grove. Rooms start at £162 per week, plus a one-time £100 fee for a bedding and kitchen utensil starter pack (compulsory).
Students are able to opt-out of University accommodation - whether they prefer to make alternative arrangements, or stay with family or friends - but we strongly recommend staying with us on campus and immersing yourself in the community atmosphere.
We try to ensure that students are allocated into diverse halls, to ensure that you get the true International Summer School experience by sharing it with students from all over the world. You may find that you are sharing spaces with some undergraduate students finishing up their first year at Liverpool.
Culture Calendar
Although the Summer Research Programme is an independent study experience, SRP students will have the opportunity to join the central International Summer School (ISS) for trips and events. In 2024 events included a welcome meal at a local restaurant and a day trip to the Lake District national park. Please note that spaces are limited and do incur a cost.
