Exchange students
If you're an exchange student from a partner university, you won't need to pay any tuition fees to us. You'll pay fees to your home university.
When you've completed your exchange with us, you'll be awarded credit for your studies and we'll send a transcript of your grades to your home university. They will then transfer credit gained while in Liverpool to your home university course.
Exchange students from our partner universities are eligible for a 10% tuition fee discount. Students may also be eligible to receive scholarships from their home university or state funding. Speak to your home university study abroad contacts for more details.
Visiting students
Visiting students come from universities that don't have an exchange partnership in place with the University of Liverpool. You can come to study with us for either a semester or a full academic year. You'll pay tuition fees to the University of Liverpool for the duration of your stay.
When you've completed your studies with us, you'll be awarded credit for your studies and we'll send a transcript of your grades to your home university. They will then transfer credit gained while in Liverpool to your home university course.
Tuition fees for 2024/25
- Full year fee - £17,700
- Semester fee - £9,650.
