Giving from the US
Donors in the US can support the University through the Chapel & York Foundation Inc., an independent, not-for-profit organisation, which is tax-exempt under Sector 501 (c) (3) of the US Internal Revenue Code and is governed by an independent Board of Directors.
Gifts to the University via the Chapel & York Foundation Inc. that meet all IRS requirements are deductible to the extent allowed by law for US taxpayers.
Giving from Canada
The University of Liverpool has prescribed status with the Canada Revenue Agency, meaning Canadian taxpayes can claim a non-refundable tax credit when donating to the University. Further information is available on the Canada Revenue Agency website.
Giving from Europe
If you are a resident of a European country, it may be possible to give a tax efficient donation to the University of Liverpool. You can make your donation through Transnational Giving Europe (TGE). The University is currently registered through TGE to accept donations from:
- Belgium
- France
- Germany
- Greece
- Hungary
- Italy
- Spain
- Switzerland
Please see the full list of countries on the TGE website for those that may be eligible. To make your gift, please contact the partner foundation in the country of your residence.
For other European countries, you can still donate directly to the University of Liverpool, but your donation may not be tax deductible.
