Masters programmes
Our Planning postgraduate programmes are all professionally accredited either by the Royal Town Planning Institute or Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment.
The IEMA-accredited Environmental Assessment and Management (MSc) explores the environmental implications of development action and the wider social, political and economic issues surrounding decisions about the environment. Our RTPI-accredited Masters in Civic Design (MCD) or parallel Town and Regional Planning (MA) (not accredited) both deliver essential aspects of Town and Regional Planning with the opportunity to specialise in spatial planning, urban design or spatial analysis. Our MCD in Urban Design and Planning provides in insights into the challenges that urban planners face in designing cities that are functional, liveable, and sustainable. Our RTPI-accredited Housing and Community Planning (MA) provides high-level, expert understanding and experience of housing and community planning practice.
