Augustus John Public House

Located in the heart of the University campus on University Square the Augustus John is the University of Liverpool's very own award-winning real ale public house.

Known locally as the AJ, the Augustus John is a CAMRA Good Beer Guide listed pub next to Caffe Nero on Brownlow Hill, near Crown Place.

A warm welcome is offered to students, University staff and anybody else lucky enough to stumble upon us. As many will testify, a night in the AJ is an education in itself!
