Paying your accommodation fees in instalments
If you wish to pay your accommodation fees in instalments, you'll need to set up a payment plan.
You can pay your accommodation fees in equal instalments by either recurring card payment agreement, or Direct Debit (UK bank accounts only).
The pay in instalments option is not available if the amount due is £500 or less, or if you are residing in University accommodation for one semester only.
The table below outlines the instalment details for academic year 2024/25. You can set up your instalment plan for academic year 2024/25 from August 2024.
You will receive a payment schedule from the Fees Office prior to each collection date, confirming each instalment amount.

Please note, when setting up your accommodation payment plan, the amount field may show as £0. This is because the payment plan systems allows you to sign a blank mandate. The payment plan holder will receive a payment plan schedule confirming the amount to be debited on each instalment collection date.
If you would prefer to pay online using an overseas credit card, the exchange rate of your future payments will be based on the exchange rate on the day the transaction is processed and without further consultation. This will include an international conversion margin.
If your card or account details change after setting up your accommodation payment plan, please re-visit the online payment system and submit the plan again. The system can only load one payment plan, so your original plan will be automatically void once updated.
