Bashar is an Accounting and Finance student.

Determined. Resilient. Believer. 

"Leaving my home in India was one of the most challenging decisions I've ever made. Back there, I was quite reserved, and the thought of stepping out of my comfort zone to chase my dreams was both daunting and exhilarating. Since I was seven, I’ve wanted to become a Chartered Accountant. However, studying Accounting and Finance at the University of Liverpool opened my eyes to a world of opportunities within the field of finance. I’ve discovered new paths I never considered before and developed skills I never imagined having.

The supportive environment at Liverpool has truly transformed me. From being reserved to becoming confident, agile, and resilient, my journey here has been life changing. I’ve taken on leadership roles, embraced new challenges, and grown into a version of myself I never thought possible.

Leaving everything behind wasn't easy, but having faith in myself kept me moving forward. My journey has taught me the importance of resilience and perseverance in the face of challenges. Liverpool has inspired me to dream bigger and push further, and for that, I’m genuinely grateful. With faith, perseverance and determination, you can achieve more than you ever thought possible."
