PCS collaborates closely with the Inclusive Campus Steering Group (ICSG) and the University’s Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee to lead initiatives that improve the physical accessibility and inclusivity of our campus environment.

PCS is dedicated to creating a built environment that supports inclusivity and accessibility for all staff, students, and visitors, in line with University policies.

Current projects

  • Improving accessibility in older buildings
  • Installing ‘changing places’ and gender-neutral toilets
  • Adding evacuation lifts in multi-storey buildings
  • Providing family rooms and baby-changing facilities
