Microsoft Outlook: Download the file, double-click it to open it in Outlook, then click on "Save & Close" to save it to your calendar. If that doesn't work go into Outlook, click on the File tab, then on Open & Export, then Open Calendar. Select your .ics file then click on "Save & Close".

Prfessor Pollard’s research was highlighted on banners at the AACR meeting since his review in 2006 with Professor Claire Lewis was selected to celebrate the 75th year of publishing of “Cancer Research” as one of the 9 most cited and influental reviews. Professor Pollard is a member of the faculty of 1000 and a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences (AAAS). He has received several awards including the Rothschild-Yvette Mayent-Institut Curie award from the Institut Curie, France, and the Darwin Lectureship of the British Association for the Advancement of Science and in 2010 he was awarded the highest award of the American Cancer Society their “Medal of Honor for Basic Science Research” for his studies in tumour immunology.
Professor Pollard has published over 225 papers and edited several books. He is regularly among the top 1% of cited scientists in Biomedical Sciences. He has served on many editorial boards and is currently on several including, “Molecular Oncology”, “Journal of Clinical Investigation”, “Cancer Microenvironment”, “OncoTarget”, “Molecular Oncology” and “Journal of Mammary Gland Biology and Neoplasia”. He is also serves on many Scientific Advisory Boards including the Campbell Center in Toronto, Canada (Dr. Tak Mak), the Knight Cancer Center University of Portland, Oregon, USA (Dr. Lisa Coussens), Institute of Science and Technology, Nankai University Tianjin, China (Dr. Luyuan Li), and Breakthrough for Breast Cancer in the UK. He is also Chair of the advisory committee for the European “Rational Molecular Assessment and Innovative Drug Selection (RAIDS)” focused on advanced stage cervical cancer and centred at the Institut Curie in Paris, France. In addition, he is a visiting professor for Sun Yat Sen University in Guangzhou, China.
Professor Pollard’s research has been featured in textbooks such as “Molecular Biology of the Cell” and “Pathophysiology” where his work featured on the front cover. His work has also been featured in many popular science journals including Scientific American, in newspapers and on TV programs in the UK, US and Japan. One of the most recent was the American ABC program “Breast Cancer: New Options and New Promise” which went onto win an Emmy award in 2013.
