Early Music as Education presents Fabio Bagnoli for an afternoon of the music of Baroque Venice with the Liverpool String Academy Orchestra, featuring music by Vivaldi, Albinoni, and Marcello.

Early Music as Education is a registered charity based in Liverpool that promotes the cultural, social and economic value of Early Music through regular educational, recreational and scholarly activities. They gather young people from different backgrounds in weekly tutorials, classes and seminars, providing a whole range of learning experiences at no cost.

Established in July 2017 with an emphasis on high level performance, the Liverpool String Academy Orchestra is EMAE’s flagship ensemble. Our orchestra is made up of members from our Academy's Advanced Ensemble alongside LSA alumni and working professionals from across Merseyside.

Fabio Bagnoli is a celebrated oboist, collaborating with many prestigious orchestras at iconic venues around the world.

With broad musical expertise, Fabio Bagnoli showcases the versatility of the instrument in his engagements with repertoire ranging from the Baroque era to the contemporary period. He has pushed the instrument to its extreme with works such as as the 'Etudes Transcendantales' by the English composer Brian Ferneyhough, and Krzysztof Penderecki's 'Capriccio' for oboe and orchestra in collaboration with maestro Penderecki himself.

Also active in Baroque music for over 20 years, Bagnoli has made countless productions with the best groups and specialist musicians of this repertoire.
