Synopsis: 'X Trillion' follows an all-women crew, led by Emily Penn, on a 3,000-mile voyage across the North Pacific Ocean, sailing through the world’s densest ocean plastic accumulation. This diverse team of scientists, sailors, and engineers battles storms and sea sickness to conduct groundbreaking microplastics research and expose the crisis of plastic pollution. A powerful story of resilience, hope, and action, this film is a call to action that burns with optimism.
