As digital access, skills, confidence and engagement become increasingly essential, closing the gap between those who benefit from digital tech and AI, and those who are left further behind, is more critical than ever. Join us for a conversation on the UK's digital inequalities at this fringe event during the Labour Party Conference, hosted by the University of Liverpool.

This fringe event, on Sunday 22 September from 5:00-6:30PM, convenes a cross-sector panel of experts who will explore what the data tells us about digital and AI inequalities, and how it aligns - or conflicts - with public perceptions. Our panel will be expertly moderated by Helen Milner OBE, Good Things Foundation Group CEO, with speakers from community, academic, business, and government sectors. Confirmed speakers: Prof. Simeon Yates (University of Liverpool), Rob Benson (Liverpool City Region Combined Authority), Hafsha Shaikh (Smartlyte - Get Families Talking). Invited speakers: Samantha Niblett (MP for South Derbyshire), Jemma Waters (Lloyds Banking Group), Ali Shah (Accenture).
