"With someone like Schubert, there are many layers, many things being said at the same time, shedding different light. The tricky thing, the point, is to get the delicate balance that conveys the message." Paul Lewis

Dreamer, poet, radical, and visionary, Franz Schubert was a composer who stood between worlds – and Paul Lewis’ astounding performances are coming to define the way our generation understands his music. Today Lewis brings all his energy and insight to Schubert’s late piano sonatas: a trilogy of masterpieces charged with beauty, power and something more – something that goes far beyond words. But if anyone can make it speak, it’s Paul Lewis.
