A showcase of screen compositions by the University of Liverpool’s MA Music and Audiovisual Media programme presented in partnership with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Ensemble 10:10 will perform works by our 23/24 MA cohort live to picture

The MA Music and Audiovisual Media programme allows students to specialise in areas such as composition for moving image, sound design, screen music analysis, film studies, and sound studies. Students develop their knowledge and research skills through approaches to audiovisual media including musicology, critical theory, and textual analysis.

Earlier in the year, our screen composers collaborated with members of the RLP’s Ensemble 10:10 for a professional recording session. They come together once again for this evening’s performance to celebrate the end of their studies.

Composers include Will Bryce, Marcelo Bustamante, Nelson Cheang, Rachel Clemett, Joe Ellis, Joel Foster, Séamus Thomas, Sara Wolff, and Dylan Young.
