How can artists reclaim subjectivity in the Middle East? What are the connections between the art of protest, transnational feminism, and the nuances of personal and collective narratives? This workshop – organized in two dialogic sessions with artists from Iran and Turkey – navigates the interplay between regional and global discourses through the lens of art, agency and spatial forms of resistance.

Speakers: Ceren Ozpinar and Azadeh Sarjoughian
