The Health Law and Regulation Unit (HLRU) was established 2013 in the School of Law at Liverpool following a long history of leading healthcare lawyers based in the School. This free to attend, in-person, conference celebrates this 10 year anniversary where we will reflect on the history and future of HLRU, as well as celebrating its links to other healthcare law centres and academics. The event closes with a roundtable discussion of surrogacy which is a key research theme within HLRU, and subject to timely debate with the recent publication of the Law Commission’s proposals for reform. Registration for the public lecture is via a separate link. Register for the event here.
Any questions can be directed to the Unit’s Director Dr Danielle Griffiths (Danielle.griffiths@liverpool.ac.uk) So far, both events will be in person only and held in the School of Law and Social Justice Building at the University of Liverpool.
