We have vets working at the hospital 24 hours a day and are able to respond to any emergency referral within 10 minutes.

Please have the case history and client details available when you call so you can provide details to the team taking the referral.

If you have an emergency referral between 9am-5pm Monday - Friday, your call will be taken by the hospital reception who will put your call through immediately to one of the veterinary team.

If your emergency referral is between 5pm - 9am weekdays or over the weekend, your call will be taken by the hospital out-of-hours team. They will take details of the emergency and one of the on-call veterinary team will return your call within 10 minutes.

Please ask your client to call us on the above number when they are approximately half an hour away from the hospital. Please also advise them that they will need to pay a £1000 deposit on arrival at the hospital if their horse is uninsured.


Routine Referrals

If you would like to refer a horse for elective treatment or a second opinion please complete the online Referral Form, or alternatively download this Blank referral form, complete it and email it to the email address provided on the form. We will need a full history, including any diagnostic images or test results. These can be posted, emailed or faxed to us.

Please note that you will need to log in to the online referral form using the details emailed to you by our reception team.
