Weight management

We can provide tailored advice on appropriate nutrition, exercise and medication programmes for your horse or pony. Using our accurate weigh bridge at the clinic we can also monitor your horse’s progress and alter management strategies as necessary.

Our involvement in your horses’ weight management allows us to detect whether your horse is at risk of debilitating conditions such as laminitis. We can carry out blood tests to assess your horses’ insulin levels and can personalise your horses’ care programme.
