With £1.9M of funding from the European Regional Development Fund, the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and the project partners the Port City Innovation Hub will work with SME’s with a footprint in the maritime sector create innovative technologies, products, processes and services and develop these through collaborative partnerships.
The Port City Innovation Hub is a partnership between Wirral Council, the University of Liverpool, Wirral Chamber of Commerce, Mersey Maritime and Rainmaking Innovation, as first phase activity prior to the launch of the Maritime Knowledge Hub. The University of Liverpool is leading on the research intensive activity to co-create projects that meet an SME’s R&D needs and aspirations.
