About

I am a lecturer in Environmental Change in the Department of Geography and Planning at the University of Liverpool. Additionally I am a Research Associate at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute (STRI) in Panama.

Before becoming a lecturer at the University of Liverpool I was a postdoctoral researcher at STRI, the University of Calgary, and the University of Pennsylvania. I received my DPhil (PhD) from the University of Oxford, my Master's from McGill University, and my Bachelors from the University of Windsor in Canada. I've carried out fieldwork from the Canadian Arctic to the Peruvian Amazon.
