About
I am an Aquatic Biogeochemist, exploring carbon cycling and greenhouse gas emissions from freshwater ecosystems. I am primarily a field scientist, undertaking fieldwork campaigns in the remote Canadian and Siberian Arctic, Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Scotland and the Netherlands. I specialise in the use of radiocarbon and stable isotopes to determine the source and fate of carbon in freshwater ecosystems, including both field and lab investigations, and method development.
