MA TESOL and TESOL/Applied Linguistic students trip to Moel Famau
On Thursday 6th June, a group of 34 MA TESOL and TESOL/Applied Linguistic students undertook an intrepid expedition to the wilds of Moel Famau. This is just about the nearest Welsh mountain to Liverpool. On the trip, we dodged the rain, the sheep and the rocky path to make it to the Jubilee Tower summit.
From there, we could see across the county of Denbighshire to Snowdonia in the west and also see the Mersey estuary in the east. We finished the trip with a visit to Loggerheads, a disused lead and zinc mine, now turned into a country park. Some students then topped off the excursion with a visit to the local pub, thereby experiencing three aspects of British culture all in one trip!
Come to the University of Liverpool and study TESOL, Applied Linguistics – and learn a whole lot more!
