Women Poets Prize

Jennifer Lee Tsai, a doctoral candidate in the English Department and member of the Centre for New and International Writing, has been shortlisted for the 2022 Women Poets' Prize.

Jennifer's second pamphlet, La Mystérique, was recently published by Guillemot Press. This short collection 'moves between Hong Kong, China and Liverpool and across generations to explore dual cultural and linguistic heritages. The meditations, ghosts and memories of this sequence form a spiritual quest -- a longing -- weaving together mystical texts with the poet's family history.' A launch event is being held online on the 10th of November.

The three winners of the Women Poets' Prize will be announced on Saturday 19th of November at the National Centre for Writing.
