Postgraduate personal statement support

We want to see you get onto the postgraduate degree of your choice, and we want to help you take the quickest route to it. That's why the English Language Centre has teamed up with Careers and Employability to offer bespoke support to help you prepare, plan and write successful personal statements for postgraduate study.

Before booking a one-to-one tutorial with one of our tutors, you should complete steps 1 and 2 on the Careers webpage. These two steps will help you with questions such as:

• What do I need to prepare before I start writing my statement?
• What should I include in my statement?
• How should I organise my statement?

Once you have written your first draft, you can book a one-to-one online consultation with a specialist tutor from the English Language Centre who will help you refine it.  The link for booking can be found in the "personal statement workbook" at the end of the online tutorial.
