Academic Language and Skills Classes
The In-Sessional English Team works closely with departments to design courses which relate to your core academic modules and the skills that you'll need to be successful on your programme.
Our academic language and skills classes might use key texts relating to your subject area, consider language issues relevant to a lecture or assignment, or help you prepare for an assessment or examination.
These classes are offered at all levels of study where schools and departments have requested them.
If a class has been set up for your course, it will appear on your personalised timetable to fit with your regular schedule. Most of these classes start in week 3 of Semester 1 and may continue through Semester 2.
