Mathematical Education

Currently, my main research area is within Mathematical education, specifically the pedagogical approaches to delivering Mathematics. New and improved methods are continually being introduced to apply mathematical modelling as well as to improve the mathematical ability of students within Science & Engineering. I regularly introduce these methods into my teaching, most recently making use of Artificial Intelligence to assist with complex statistical analysis.

Geometry & Topology

My Mathematical research lies in Complex Hyperbolic Geometry, specifically Complex Hyperbolic Triangle Groups. Here I explore the discreteness conditions of complex hyperbolic triangles, setting out conditions on the orders of the complex reflections (which can be of arbitrary order) for which the triangle group is discrete.
