In addition to improving their academic standards, the winners were chosen as they significantly contributed to teamwork, student & staff liaison and life at the School of Engineering.

The students were also commended on how well they engaged with extracurricular activities and professional bodies, including the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

CEO of Stack Data Solutions, Jeff Orr, whose family has a long association with University of Liverpool said:  “Adeayo and Oluyemi are two very deserving young men who are a credit to the University of Liverpool, not only academically but also socially.

“I have fantastic memories of my student days at the University and thought it would be fitting to recognise these with an annual development prize for the most academic improvement.  It was difficult for the panel to choose two people for this prize as standards were very high, but I feel we selected the right students and I hope they will go on to experience future success and happiness.”
