The annual Postdocs in Nuclear Energy meeting (PiNE) will be hosted by the University of Liverpool in 2019.
The annual Postdocs in Nuclear Energy meeting (PiNE) will be hosted by the University of Liverpool in 2019. PiNE offers the opportunity for post-doctoral or equivalent level researchers to get together in an informal environment, share their work and learn what else is going on in the nuclear research community. A range of speakers from the nuclear energy sector will give presentations and will be on hand to offer career advice and insights into the future of nuclear energy research in the UK.
Registration will include lunches and a formal evening meal at the Victoria Gallery and Museum (www.liverpool.ac.uk/vgm)
PiNE is an informal meeting for post-doctoral or equivalent researchers to meet, present their research and to provide an insight into the wider world of nuclear research.
The meeting will include a range of speakers from various backgrounds who will give presentations and discuss issues, insights and to offer advice on different topics within the field of nuclear energy research.
Registration to the meeting is free of charge and is now open, please email Dr Glyn Cobourne at g.cobourne@liverpool.ac.uk with the completed PiNE Registration Form. Any questions please feel free to contact either Glyn or Dr I-Hsuan Lo at I.lo@liverpool.ac.uk.
Abstracts are welcomed for oral or poster presentation at the main part of the meeting. Please ensure that you submit your abstracts to Glyn Cobourne at g.cobourne@liverpool.ac.uk, by 30th August 2019.
