Research Facilities

The Department has exceptional research facilities including full motion flight simulators, wind tunnels, a 90,000l recirculating water tunnel. It also has a new low Reynolds number flow facility, as part of the recent £23m National Wind Tunnel Facility award. A new laboratory dedicated to energy technologies and space research are currently in development.
