Dr Jelena Milisavljevic-Syed publishes monograph on Design of Manufacturing Systems for Industry 4.0
In her first monograph, Architecting Networked Engineered Systems, Dr Jelena Milisavljevic-Syed and co-authors address the design of manufacturing systems in the age of Industry 4.0. The authors demonstrate how the integration of adaptability, operability, and re-configurability in the design of complex systems is indispensable for the further digitization of engineering systems. The framework and techniques in this monograph are applicable for architecting networked engineered systems in all industries that are being transformed through the adoption of the Industry 4.0 initiative.
