Industrial Design Logo Competition
During the fall semester, an Industrial Design logo competition was held.
The logo to be designed was meant to be used on Industrial Design merchandising and promotional materials.
There were a number of design requirements, and the competition was open to all students in Industrial Design.
The large number of designs submitted were judged by the Industrial Design staff. Pugh, this was a tough task.
The winning design (depicted on the left) was conceived by Mr Haichen Gao. Runners-up were Ms. Min Cai (second place) and Mr. Ryan Merrix (third place).
Award certificates bearing the new logo and prizes were awarded during the official inauguration of the Industrial Design Society on 11 December 201
