The University of Liverpool Teaching Recognition and Accreditation (ULTRA) Framework

ULTRA provides opportunities to all those who teach or support learning, or who are educational leaders, at the University to reflect on and evidence their practice and apply for professional recognition.

ULTRA is accredited by AdvanceHE to meet the standards set out in the Professional Standards Framework 2023 (PSF 2023). Successful applicants gain Fellowship of the HEA/Advance HE.

The Introducing ULTRA Handbook (PDF, 1.4MB) provides information on the following:

  • An overview of ULTRA and the benefits of professional recognition
  • Deciding on an appropriate category of Fellowship
  • The ULTRA application requirements and how your application will be reviewed
  • The support available to you during the application process

ULTRA dashboard

You can use the dashboard to sign up for Teams briefings or watch recorded briefings. The LMS also contains further guidance about the PSF 2023 and links to the Fellowship Category Tool, as well as copies of resources and application forms for each category of Fellowship. Please familiarise yourself with these materials before registering, so that you have an understanding of the requirements of ULTRA before getting started on your application. After registration, you will be given access to the ULTRA Canvas site, where all documentation and support materials can be found.
