NTF/CATE Pipeline Programme

The NTF/CATE Pipeline Programme is a unique collaborative venture between the University of Manchester, University of Liverpool, Manchester Metropolitan University and Northumbria University.

The network is open to colleagues in each of the institutions, regardless of their role, who are in a position to be able to apply for either a National Teaching Fellow Award and/or a Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence within the next two to three years.

The programme is supported by Teaching Excellence Award Leads (TEALs) from each of the institutions and provides a series of webinars and follow-up support sessions to offer advice and networking opportunities for colleagues. The collaboration offers a chance to gain advice from experts in each institution as well as sharing good practice with other applicants. The programme consists of a series of online webinars held in Spring each year concentrating on the criteria for each award and, in the lead up to submission, a coordinated series of networking opportunities. These give you an opportunity to share progress on your claim and have space to continue writing your application with the opportunity to ask questions and further develop your ‘golden thread'.

Existing award winners from each institution are invited to share their experience of applying and tips for success as well as having support from external colleagues from across the UK.
