At the University of Liverpool there are several conferences and events through the year focusing on teaching and learning. These are hosted by The Academy and CIE and are a great way to share your work, learn from colleagues and explore opportunities for collaboration. In addition to our in-house conferences and events, you may wish to explore other events in your own disciplines which has a learning and teaching focus.

This conference aims to support staff who are researching their learning and teaching practice and who are intending to publish their work. The conference provides an exciting opportunity to collaborate, build networks and share emerging scholarship with peers from across the institution and beyond.

The annual conference organised by The Academy in collaboration with the Research Staff Association has become a focal point of the organisation's initiative to create a borderless community of researchers working across the University of Liverpool.

The Learning and Teaching Conference

An annual two-day, summer event in which colleagues from the University of Liverpool share innovative practice in learning and teaching.

The Liverpool Learning Summit

This event takes place every January and has a different theme each year. This week-long event brings together colleagues from UoL and other universities and organisations across the UK to discuss and present on the chosen theme.

The Islands of Innovation

Inspired by our Treasure Island Pedagogies podcast series, takes place every May, where educators across the globe share their lightbulb moments, teaching props and pedagogies to create their imagined future of education.
