Our dedicated postdocs, PhD and MRes students have opened a new window into their world of research by launching an Instagram account, @labinthepark. The team are based in the Wolfson lab and are at the forefront of investigating a myriad of juvenile inflammatory and musculoskeletal diseases.
“We are a team of scientists working with enthusiasm and passion to improve the health and well-being of children with autoimmune/inflammatory diseases such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), JIA-associated uveitis, juvenile-onset systemic lupus erythematosus, inflammatory and non-inflammatory bone diseases, scleroderma, cystic fibrosis, and asthma, as well as COVID-19.
Our laboratory is based at the Institute In The Park, close to Alder Hey Hospital, enabling us to work closely with clinicians and patients. Together, we are working to understand disease mechanisms in order to find different targeted treatments and new disease markers to allow earlier diagnosis and effective therapies with fewer side effects!”
Expect behind-the-scenes lab activities and engaging updates on ongoing research projects, events, and presentations.
Join them at @labinthepark and be part of the scientific journey!
