Biography
Oliver completed his PhD at the University of East Anglia in 2023 with an interest in musculoskeletal disorders. His work has focused on the biochemistry of chondrocytes in osteoarthritis, specifically investigating how changes to the structure of a glycosaminoglycan, heparan sulfate, altered signalling within the chondrocyte and subsequent changes in protein expression. He has gone on to join the EATC4children in a postdoctoral research position to study juvenile idiopathic arthritis-associated uveitis.
