Biography
With a background of primary school teaching, Sammy has worked for the Clinical Research Facility as the Youth and Family Participation Office for the last year and a half. Part of her role involves facilitating the young person’s research advisory group Generation R and assisting the national Generation R Alliance. Over the last year Sammy has developed the Generation R Liverpool Parent and Carer Research Forum. All of these groups assist in the design and delivery of paediatric research collaborating with a variety of life science stakeholders both in the UK and internationally.
Expertise in support of EATC for children
- Responsible for the delivery of a children, young people and family involvement strategy linked to EATC activities.
- Trustee of Lupus UK and the charity RAiISE that is linked to many EATC activities.
- Board member of ENCA – European Network for Children with Arthritis, linked to PRES and the EATC activities.
