Biography
Karen graduated with a Masters of Medicinal Chemistry from Newcastle University in 2004 then obtained a PhD in Chemistry in 2008 from the University of Leeds. After finishing her PhD Karen moved into research project management and has developed a wealth of experience working within clinical translational research. She has previously worked with an international neuromuscular network, specialising in patient-led registries for rare neuromuscular conditions. Karen started at the University of Liverpool in 2015 and took over as the project manager for a portfolio of longitudinal observational studies.
Karen joined the EATC4Children as the Operations Manager in September 2021.
