Research in our Department is focused on understanding how our fascinating planet works.

Our interests range from exploring the evolution, resources and hazards of the solid earth; investigating links between ocean circulation, sea-level rise and climate change; to ecology and marine biology researching how marine terrestrial and ecosystems function.
