EC Mid-Term Review Meeting

DITANET Partners and Trainees met with the European Commission for the Project's Mid-Term Review in Brussels on 12th April 2010.    An overview of the project was presented by Carsten Welsch (Coordinator and Lead Scientist) and all beneficiary partners presented their work to date.  In addition the trainees were afforded the opportunity to speak to the EC Project Officer about their roles within the Network.

The European Commission was extremely impressed by the progress made by the Project to date and delighted to see so many industry partners in attendance at this meeting.   In all 48 Network members travelled to Brussels for this meeting.   The Project is running to schedule, meeting its aims and objects and will be able to satisfy its contract with the Commission when it concludes in May 2012.
