To ensure the research we undertake addresses each partner's needs, partners co-define projects, co-supervise students and offer work placements.
Partners benefit from a community of academic experts, an individual programme of research, network of partners with shared challenges and interests with access to CPD funding for technical training for their exisiting staff.
The CDT's focus on using "Future Computing Systems" to move "Towards a Data Driven Future" resonates strongly with two themes of non-academic organisations. In both themes, albiet for slighty different reasons, commodity data science is insufficient and there is a hunger both for the future leaders that this CDT will produce and the high-performance solutions that the student will develop.
