Blog: A day in the life of a PhD student - Sarah Askevold, First Year Student Cohort 4
Sarah Askevold is a 1st Year PhD student in the University’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics and part of the CDT in Distributed Algorithms. Her PhD is entitled: ‘Faster Uncertainty Quantification of Hydrocodes’.
As part of her PhD, Sarah is working in partnership with Dstl, with academic supervisors Lezsek Gasieniec from the University of Liverpool and Luke Mason from STFC Hartree. Sarah's industrial supervisor is Ronni Bowman.
Sarah has written a blog for the University as part of its Virtual Postgraduate Open Week, which takes place each November. Sarah talks about her life as a doctoral student here at the Distributed Algorithms CDT.
