Article: Becoming an Expert - Oisin Boyle, DA CDT Student

Oisín Boyle is a 2nd Year PhD student in the University’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Electronics and part of the CDT in Distributed Algorithms. His PhD is entitled: ‘Extracting Important Information from Noisy Spectra’.
As part of his PhD, Oisin is working in partnership with Gencoa - developer and manufacturer of equipment for thin-film material coating - based in Liverpool.
Oisin took part in the University's 'Becoming an Expert' series and talks more about his PhD project, 'spectrum', his research and life as a doctoral student here at the Distributed Algorithms CDT.
