We are developing and using 2D and 3D visualisations displayed on a large, interactive digital video wall. Immersive analytics is being explored to support interpretation of the data analysis, given the multiple parameters and levels of complexity. DMSI works closely with the Digital Innovation Facility (DIF) to develop new approaches to data analytics and information visualisation. This is in collaboration with the Geographic Data Science Lab which spans disciplines of econometrics, spatial analysis, spatial statistics, demography, population geography and computer science. In addition, DMSI is working with the Pandemic Institute and Institute of Population Health at the University of Liverpool.
