Yue Wu

Yue joined the Cooper group in 2019 as a Research Lead. Yue is interested in how important chemical questions can be tackled by new technologies such as robotic automation and computation. Yue read his undergraduate and PhD degrees in chemistry at the University of Sydney with Prof. Cameron Kepert. After this, Yue held postdoctoral positions in the Universities of Oxford (with Prof. Dermot O'Hare), Cambridge (with Prof. Tony Cheetham FRS), and the National University of Singapore (with Prof. Cheetham and Prof. John Wang). In these previous lives, Yue spent a great deal of his time at synchrotrons and neutron sources developing in situ measurement techniques and maintains a keen interest in structural characterisation using diffraction and scattering.
