Tom joined the Cooper group in 2021 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate, working on developing porous hydrogen bonded crystalline materials.

 

He completed his PhD and Masters at the University of Melbourne under the supervision of Prof. Jonathan White, where he investigated applications of chalcogen bonding in medicinal chemistry and crystal engineering.

 

Outside of chemistry, Tom appreciates the finer things in life such as good food, beer, and whisky. He might also be found climbing mountains or sailing down the Mersey.
