Adam joined the Cooper Group in 2024 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. His research centres on the synthesis of non-metal organic frameworks as part of the Autonomous Discovery of Advanced Materials (ADAM) project.

Adam graduated with a Chemistry Master’s degree (MChem) from the University of Liverpool in 2018. Following this, he studied for his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Matthew Rosseinsky (University of Liverpool), which he was awarded in 2023. His doctoral studies focused on the development of high-throughput automated methods for the discovery of new mixed-linker metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). Before joining the Cooper Group, Adam worked as an Application Scientist as part of the Henry Royce Institute, where he collaborated with industry partners on several varied research projects.

Outside the lab, Adam can often be found walking up mountains in the Lake District trying to tick off all the Wainwright peaks or going to football matches at Anfield.
