Start Date
29 April, 2025
There will be 5 weekly meetings on Tuesday 11am - 1pm, starting from 29 April.
Overview
Following last summer's highly successful "Schools of Rock - Ten Iconic Liverpool Live Music Venues", this course aims to continue the exploration of rock education in Liverpool, from the first appearance of Buddy Holly and the Crickets at the Philharmonic Hall in 1958 to the triumphant return of Liverpool punk/death rockers Zombina and the Skeletones at the Zanzibar in 2019. This course presumes no prior knowledge, so you don't have to have taken part in the last summer's course to enjoy this one. If you are interested in most genres of rock music, Liverpool history, art, photography, graphic design and performance, then you will love this course. All welcome!
