We are thrilled to announce the Liverpool Confucius Institute (LCI) will be hosting an Education Partners Conference on the 14th November 2024. This conference aims to demonstrate and discuss the benefits of cross-cultural learning in educational institutions, to discuss widening participation and student engagement, and to give LCI education partners the opportunity to give feedback and ask questions.

The day shall be split, with the morning offering participants a chance to hear about LCI’s work and what we can offer you and your school, as well as a keynote speaker and other talks. After lunch, the afternoon will include a range of Chinese cultural activities for participants to try, while also being introduced to the LCI space. The day will conclude with a Chinese dinner, allowing participants to socialize and taste Chinese cuisine.

LCI is a space to engage, share and learn Chinese culture. Throughout the year, LCI hosts a range of cultural events from film screenings, language exchange, Tai Chi, our Chinese New Year Gala and the Annual Dragon Boat Races for Schools and NW England Universities. There is also a wide range of courses to learn Chinese which caters to different ages and levels of ability. For more information regarding our events and course, please visit our website which is regularly updated.

If you are an educator, to register your place or interest in taking part in this event, please contact lci@liverpool.ac.uk. Further details of the day shall be released after the summer break.
